我院组织外国留学生感受中国文化

2013年新春将至，在我院已经实习了7个多月的8名外国留学生在顺德怎么过年呢？为了让留学生进一步了解顺德文化及春节习俗，2月7日，即农历二十七，我院组织了别开生面的留学生活动。
    上午，留学生参观前往均安参观了李小龙故居，了解全球有名的功夫影星李小龙的历史故事。接着在附属杏坛医院举办了英语沙龙，杏坛医院王继群副院长亲自主持活动，并用流利的英语与留学生交流，与会人员共同讨论了未来就业关于医学专业选择的问题。
    下午，留学生在总院培训中心参加了有趣的迎春书法竞赛。留学生穿起唐装汉服，拿起毛笔即席挥毫，书法内容均为新春对联，他们纷纷用国语讲解了对联的意思，表达了他们对中国新春的感受。最后由来自巴基斯坦的莫吉以“龙腾碧海人间改岁，蛇舞青山大地皆春”的作品及流利的中文讲解而荣获比赛一等奖。
    书法竞赛结束后，我院在饭堂为留学生准备了丰盛的团年晚宴。胡允兆副院长、于新发副院长、龙兆麟副院长在晚宴中给留学生派利是，与留学生亲切交流，大家在欢乐中为精彩、充实的一天活动写上了完满的句号。副院长胡允兆、于新发和龙兆麟为他们颁发了奖励证书。
    留学生的到来，为我院带来了新鲜的气息，有效提高了我院医务人员的英语水平。同时，我院也为留学生提供了优越的教学和生活条件。“每逢佳节倍思亲”，医院为留学生举办迎春活动，为漂洋过海，远在他乡的留学生带来家人般的温暖，感受春节的气息，体验中国传统节日的欢乐。留学生从刚来的陌生，到现在的熟悉；从刚来的忐忑，到现在的喜欢，这是因为我院有先进的医疗技术，有优秀的医务人员，更重要的是，我院有良好的文化氛围！

Another unforgettable day..!

I would personally like to pay my greetings to Mr. Chen Xiaowu, the hospital President and all the staff who made our day so much special, including all Vice presidents, Director and teachers of research and teaching department, who brought so much happiness and fun to us because as it is the first Spring festival for all the foreign students in this hospital. I am very happy that my new year in china has already begun with so much happiness and the credit goes to our hospital heads who considered about us at this busy time of new year.

I would like to share my feelings with all the members of our hospital. Hospital informed us about this activity earlier so that we could prepare for it. Plan was to visit Bruce lee’s home town, visit Xing tan affiliated hospital and the Chinese calligraphy competition among the foreigner interns. So,on 7th Feb 2013, we left the hospital to visit “Bruce Lee’s ancestor’s house. As I went there I came to know the history how he spread the Chinese gong fu in the western world, and it impressed me deeply and I thought that if he can do such a great job I should also study more heartly. After enjoying there we attanded English salon with the leaders in the affiliated xing tan hospital. Special thing is that we talked over different topics with leaders and teachers there in English and they welcomed us if it were possible to do short period internship. After this meeting, Hospital treated us a huge, fantastic lunch together with all teachers. The calligraphy competition started at 3:30 as it was supposed to. All of us were a bit nervous because for all of us it was first time to take part in such an amazing activity. But we tried our best and after we finished the writing leaders of the hospital decided that who gets the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position. By the grace of God I was selected to be the 1st one. It was inexpressible feeling when they announced my name to come and get the 1st prize. The prize money for the 1st position was 1000RMB.

It was one of the most beautiful memory of my life, I feel lucky that along with my major studies I also got the chance to learn about the Chinese culture in this hospital so I again thank the Hospital’s President for giving us the chance to know more about Chinese culture and Spring festival.

                                                                                             难忘的一天
    我将最真挚的祝福献给尊敬的陈小伍院长和那些让我们度过快乐一天的人，包括副院长们，以及科教科的主任和老师们。感谢领导能够在百忙之中照顾我们，让我们这些第一次在医院度过中国春节的外国留学生感到如此幸福和快乐。在这里我想跟大家分享我们在医院迎春的感受。医院两天前通知我们将会参观李小龙的祖居和杏坛医院，并将举行留学生迎春汉字书法比赛等一系列活动来庆祝春节。
    2月7日，阳光明媚，我们参观访问了李小龙祖居。李小龙努力将中国功夫推广到西方国家的精神给我们留下了深刻的印象，通过导游介绍，李小龙的精神鼓舞了我，我想他能够完成如此伟大的事情，那么我将来也要坚持不懈，努力学习。参观结束后我们来到附属杏坛医院与院领导见面并交流英语，该院领导非常欢迎我们并希望我们有机会到杏坛医院实习。英语沙龙结束后，医院为我们准备丰富的午餐。书法比赛三点三十分准时进行，由于第一次参加如此特别的活动，我们难免感到紧张，但是我们竭尽全力完成。院领导评选出一二三等奖。我如愿获得第一名！当宣布我获得第一名的时候，我欢喜雀跃，获得了一千元奖励。
    这是我最美好的回忆之一，我感到非常幸运在我院学习本专业知识的同时还能领略到中国博大精深的文化。我要再次感谢院领导给我们这次了解中国文化和体会春节的机会。
